M.P.P Justice Consultant, Founder of South Carolina for Restorative Justice In partnership with The Musketeer Association, LLC 501c3 Non-Profit. Host of Educational Series 2Chances, Legislation Coordinator with The National Plus Coalition. Dream Corp Justice Empathy Network Partner, Acting Board Member with The National Trauma Education and Policy Board . I began my walk in the social justice movement with the Brutal Killing of Trayvon Martin and began moving in my passion after being sickened with the death of Philando Castile live on Facebook while sitting at my desk at work. As I became more vocal about injustice, I began to wonder what happened to those who were not killed and became a hashtag. Those who are charged and lost inside of the United States Criminal Justice System without a voice. I am the wife of man who has served 24 years of a 35 year sentence on a 1st offense. I started my walk moving as an advocate for conditions inside of the prison system and soon learned that nothing would truly change without humanizing the incarcerated and real legislative reform. I pride myself on being a Humanitarian and believe in 2ndChances and changed mindsets, Not only for the United States government, but for Humankind. I am ready to see laws changed, families reunited, and communities restored. Ending disparities among socioeconomic variations and moreover black and brown communities all across the country.
